ABOUT ME
Dr LORNA YOUNG
Hi folks!
I am a recently qualified Level 2 and 3 personal trainer (qualified with FitLearn). I am currently an active research scientist at the University of Liverpool.
I am enthusiastic about getting people involved in fitness, and living a healthy lifestyle. I strongly believe that being more active makes you feel better. and do better; not only during physical activity, but in your every day life. I am also passionate about people achieving their personal goals, whatever they may be.
I am a competitive runner, having competed for my county and country on a number of occasions over many years. (Please note: this does not mean I will make you run!). Over the past year I have become a keen "Yogi" and I have seen how this can benefit me physically (improving my running and reducing injuries), as well as mentally. In addition to Yoga, I have started including HIIT (high intensity interval training) into my training; again, I have seen significant improvements in my fitness with this addition.

I am currently mainly focussing on outdoor fitness classes HITASS - HIIT exercises, mixed with some stretching.
